This logo was based on something that would look very well printed on hats or clothing, like something that is still rough and rugged but simple design that can become recognizable when people see it. Rough looking lettering with a simple photo of a swampy backwater look. He was not looking for a typical duck cupping look, rather traditional painted heads of a mallard and green wing teal next to each other.
