Who handles your Social Media?
I recently had a new customer tell me his social media was getting handled by a professional social media company and wanted to know if it was worth the money. I said I'd take a look and give my opinion.
I have customers that ask me all the time about posting social media for them, so I figured I would show a example of a social media company that blind posts for this particular hunting outfitter.
Examples:
Business Representation
Interesting content to say the least. This is not the content I would want to post to clients that follow my business. Quite frankly, this is a disgrace. It's very obvious to most people that the content is manufactured and not well thought out.
I'm not a huge fan of talking negatively, but in my clients best interests, I need to address the topic. The company in question here is Main Street Hub, which just recently in January 2018 got sold to GoDaddy.com. I'm not saying because they got sold to Godaddy.com that they are bad, but I'm just saying that what's the incentive for them or a low level employee to really care about your business?
Additionally, Main Street Hub promotes their own URLs and a client hub website, which I find is a bad marketing idea in my opinion. If you ever leave their service, they will shut the website down without redirecting it to your main website.

Better ROI
There are so many better ways to generate customers and spending your marketing dollars than spending it on a social media service such as Main Street Hub. I'm not saying all Social Media companies are bad, because if you are looking for a knowledgeable intelligent social media company, give 3plains a call.
