As we predicted, the big Google mobile update (or Mobilegeddon as the media was calling it) affected websites very minimally. The weeks leading up to the Google mobile update, there were several other web firms calling and scaring our customers and telling them if they didn't change their website over to a mobile friendly design, their Google rankings would tank. It also shows how far (and unethical) some web companies are willing to go to get your clients business. As it turns out, the Google update wasn't that big of a deal.

If you haven't heard yet, Google has a big algorithm update out today. If you remember Y2K, the grid did not go offline because of a 2 digit issue. In my opinion, Google announcing this new mobile update is no different.

March 4th-9th, I headed out with the Buffalo Butte Ranch crew to the Snowy Range in Centennial Wyoming for a snowmobile trip. We hit around 3 feet of fresh powder that week, so we hit the snow about perfect.
